Yawh

For songwriters

Your song with an owner, a registration and a contract.

You have heard enough promises of fame. Yawh offers something else: legal identity for your song, a split settled before the fight and a contract before the recording.

What you fear, and what we do about it

These are the six fears every songwriter has, and what the platform does about each one.

  • 01

"What if someone steals my song?"

Every song gets a timestamp and a hash the moment it is uploaded, with a receipt. Public audio only streams, never downloads, and carries a watermark that identifies who listened.

  • 02

    "What if I lose control?"

You set term, territory, media and exclusivity once, and override them per song whenever you want. No contract goes outside those rules.

  • 03

"What if it gets stuck in a drawer?"

The reversion clause gives the song back to you if the buyer does not record it in time. No arguing, no lawyer, automatic.

  • 04

"What if we fight over the percentage?"

The split is declared and signed by every co-writer before the song is published. Once it is a hit, it is too late to agree.

  • 05

    "What if nobody listens?"

You see who listened, when and for how long. A label that played it three times is information, not hope.

  • 06

"What if they don’t get my phone recording?"

Yawh Studio produces a guide track, a professional demo or a finished master on demand. A good song sung badly does not sell.

How to get started

From sign-up to your first published song.

  1. 01

CPF or CNPJ, stage name and Pix key. Five minutes, on your phone.

  2. 02

    Your song

Lyrics as text and a guide recording. The platform suggests key, tempo and theme; you confirm.

  3. 03

    Your split

List your co-writers. Each one signs through a link, without creating a full account.

  4. 04

    Your rules

Price, term, exclusivity and what can or cannot be changed in your lyrics.

What the publisher does for you

Yawh is a publisher, not a showcase. Here is where the difference shows.

  • 01

Administers songs that already have an ISWC

If the song is already registered, the ISWC stays the same. Yawh checks the registration, tracks collections and reports back, as a contracted service.

  • 02

Registers the song and obtains the ISWC

Registration with the collective management society, with the correct metadata. Without an ISWC, Ecad cannot pay you.

  • 03

    Collects and reports

Statements per song and per accounting period, showing gross amount received, share deducted and net. Line by line.

  • 04

    Publishing agreement, never assignment

You remain the rights holder. The publisher has an ongoing percentage share, so it only earns if your song earns.

Registration, a signed split and a contract. Fame is not part of the package.
