The Yawh privacy policy is being drafted and will be published before the platform opens public sign-up.

What is already decided

  • Legal basis. Performance of a contract for sign-up and payment data. Consent only for marketing communication and for using the catalog to train artificial intelligence models.
  • AI training. The default answer is no. Any use of your catalog to train models requires an explicit, paid opt-in, song by song.
  • Real portability. You can export your catalog, contracts and statements in an open format, at any time.
  • Account deletion. Contracts in effect involve other parties with rights, so a song’s record cannot be erased while they exist. This needs to be clear up front, not in the middle of a crisis.
